SanDisk Ducati USB Flash Drive, CF, SD cards introduced

SanDisk has joined hands with Ducati, the popular manufacturer of top-notch motorcycles, to announce their latest USB flash drives, called the SanDisk Extreme Ducati Edition. This device unique has a unique shape; it is designed as a gas tank that is generally noticed on Ducati motorcycles.

20MB/second sequential read/write speed

The read/write speeds is the fastest that SanDisk USB devices offer. It also comes with SanDisk Extreme Ducati Edition lanyard for easy carrying, and recognition as an officially licensed Ducati product.

SanDisk Extreme Ducati Edition USB Flash Drive is priced at $124.99 (approx. Rs. 5000).















SanDisk has also introduced the "SanDisk Extreme Ducati Edition CompactFlash" and "SanDisk Extreme Ducati Edition SD Plus" flash memory cards which come in 4GB and 8GB, and 4GB capacities respectively. The CompactFlash card has a read/write speed of 45MB per second, the SD Plus card has a read/write speed of 20MB per second.

The SD Plus card has a snap-open connector that enables the card to be plugged in directly to the USB port of a PC, without requiring a cable or reader.

The CompactFlash cards are priced at $164.99 (Rs 6,653) for 4GB and $314.99 (Rs 12,701) for 8GB capacities, while the SD Plus card would cost $129.99 (Rs 5,241).

All Sandisk Ducati products will be available in North America and Europe in August, and worldwide in September.
