Logitech has launched the Logitech Advanced Universal Harmony 885 and Logitech Advanced Universal Harmony 525 remotes in India. These remotes come with SmartState Technology, which allows them to remember the status of each component in home entertainment system.
The Logitech Harmony 885 allows users to press just one of the activity buttons and the remote automatically sets up the entire entertainment system and even presses play. This remote is activity-based and features one touch control. The Harmony 885 remote includes support for Teletext by providing dedicated buttons that correspond with the red, green, yellow and blue functions, putting complete control at people's fingertips.
The Harmony 885 remote is optimized for use with HDTV and PVR/DVR (Digital Video Recording) systems. It automatically lights up when picked up and controls up to 15 devices with more than 250 different activities. The remote is also rechargeable, eliminating the need to change batteries. The Harmony 885 includes a docking station that keeps the remote charged.
