Logitech has launched the Logitech MX Air Rechargeable Cordless Air Mouse. The newly introduced device is a laser mouse that works on the desk as well as in the air.
Users can enjoy media files such as photos, songs or videos even when sitting at the distance from the computer and navigate the computer just like we control the television set via remote.

Freespace is Logitech's name for combination of MEMS (microelectromechanical sensors), DSP (digital signal processing) and RF technologies that enable control of the cursor while moving the device in air or on desk.

It also features Gesture-based commands by which users can change the volume, by pressing and holding the volume button and then just gesture - to the right to increase volume, or to the left to decrease it. The traditional scroll wheel has been replaced with a touch-sensitive scroll panel. A swipe of the finger on the surface enables the scrolling. The scroll also adjusts its speed according to the speed of the finger swipe. Autonomy comes via a combination of Li-ion battery and a fast recharger.
