fyNokia has launched another DVB-H enabled handset, the N77 (which supports LIVE TV Broadcast on mobiles) in India . It had launched the DVB-H enabled N92 last month. The device redefines your entire TV viewing experience is its small and compact structure. It works as your portable TV…with you anywhere and everywhere.
The N77 currently offers 8 free-to-air Doordarshan channels, including DD National, DD News, DD Sports, DD Bharati, DD Urdu, DD Punjabi, DD Bangla, and DD Podhigai in New Delhi. There are plans to extend the service to other metros in the country, as also offer other TV channels on the N77.
The N77 has a wide 2.4-inch flat screen, high quality stereo. The Nokia N77 multimedia device has a special TV key, which gives users direct access to digital entertainment. The key even retains information of the last channel a person was viewing before switching it off. With just a push of a button, N77 makes it possible for users to set reminders for a particular program and have alerts for the show timings. The Program Guide in the mobile TV application enables users to view program information up to seven days, browse TV channels and select the TV program one is keen to watch. It also includes capabilities such as 30-second replay and live TV watching after replay, along with built-in interactive service functionality, like SMS voting for deciding what music video should be followed.
The N77 has a 2 megapixel camera (1600 x 1200 pixels), integrated MP3 playerweb browsing, email access, calendar, and to-do lists. With up to 2GB of memory to store up to 1,500 tracks, and integrated stereo speakers, the phone promises a superior mobile music experience.
