Akshay Kumar's new Sikh look in 'Singh is King' film

Akshay Kumar's forthcoming film, "Singh Is King", being produced by Vipul Shah and which is currently being filmed in Australia, features him in a new avatar of a Sikh.(Click on image to enlarge)























There has been a lot of speculation in the media about Akshay's new look. Akshay Kumar is one actor who is experimenting with his looks a lot these days. The Akshay-Katrina Kaif comedy directed by Anees Bazmee.

An Australian website has carried a photograph of Kumar on the sets in his turban. The film's producers are reportedly very angry. Singh is King was being filmed at Evandale when the website photographer clicked the pictures of Akshay Kumar, from a distance, during a scene. The Indian producer tried to order the photographer off the public land, claiming the shot could cause copyright issues.

Singh is King, has been filming everywhere from Q1 to the Wave Building and the Hinterland to the beaches.

There are also rumors that this film is basically produced and financed by none other than Akshay Kumar himself. Vipul Shah denied the rumors very strongly and said, “I am not going to talk about this at all, as this is completely ridiculous. To get the clarification on this, you need to talk to Akshay himself and find out. And as far as I am concerned, I do not want to talk about the money at all.”

The $10 million production is due to be completed in December with the finished product hitting Australian screens between May and August. About 60 local film-makers are working on the film as well as the Indian crew.
