The BlackBerry 8820 smartphone features voice and data mobile connectivity via EDGE and GPRS, Wi-Fi connectivity as well as a number of location-based applications. It also comes with a navigation application called WayFinder which has the ability to pinpoint locations and to plan routes.
The BlackBerry 8820 is also compatible with 802.11 a/b/g WiFi standards allowing users to enable data access over enterprise WiFi connections. The device also offers Roxio Media Manager for easy search, viewing and organizing functions of PC media files. It also enables users to create MP3 music files from CDs, add audio tags, create playlists and automatically copy or convert pictures.
