Britney Spears started drinking after joining Disney's Mickey Mouse Club, a U.S. variety television show.
Lynne claims that the 14-year-old Britney lost her virginity to an 18-year-old high school football player in her home town of Kentwood, Louisiana soon after she quit the programme.
Lynne said that she regrets handing over control of Britney's career to managers and allowing her daughter to be promoted as a sex object in raunchy videos at such a young age. She also believes that most of Britney's problems find their roots in her teenage life.
Lynne admitted that she let her daughter sleep with pop superstar Justin Timberlake when she was just 16. While dating Justin Timeberlake, Britney had always claimed that she was a virgin. Lynne thought Britney was in love and Justin was good for her.
Britney was also caught with cocaine and cannabis on a private jet, when she was 16.
