Motorola RAZR 2 V8 mobile phone launched in India

Motorola has launched the RAZR2 V8 mobile phone in India. The V8 is a flip phone, only 11.9 mm thick, has two displays of 240 x 320 pixels. It has a seamless casing, soft touch back, and vacuum metal front. The flip phone has at it's core a stainless steel frame for enhanced strength. It runs on Linux/Java.

Motorola RAZR 2 V8 has a 2.0 megapixel camera with 2GB of internal memory, a new ARM 11 processor, USB 2.0 connectivity, Bluetooth with A2DP compatibility, Microsoft Windows Media Player 11 compatibility, a full HTML browser and Web browsing experience powered by Google mobile search, and built-in email functionality.

To read messages, users don't have to flip open the phone. They can reply in the same way with pre-programmed text messages. Besides, the external display incorporates Motorola's 'haptics' technology providing users with a vibrating feedback in response to the tap of their fingers. This, in combination with virtual music keys enables users better control their music.

The RAZR 2 incorporates Motorola's CrystalTalk technology, which as the name suggests, adjusts audio in such a way so as to ensure clear calls even in a noisy environment.

The RAZR V8 512MB Deluxe Pack is available at a best buy price of Rs. 18,999 (MRP Rs. 20,428), while the 2GB Premium Pack with an in-box Bluetooth S705 headset is available for Rs 19,999 (MRP: Rs 21,549).
