Asus has launched its latest R2E Ultra Mobile PC in India. It has a7-inch LCD screen, and has fantastic features packed in the size of a paperback novel.
Asus R2E UMPC has a touch panel input on a sharp digital writing pad, SunRead glare-proof panel, and a built-in GPS that offers up turn-by-turn navigation. The R2E also features Asus InfoPen input option. The unique stylus lets users an ease to record or to edit effigies or text files as they would do on the paper. Together with Asus InfoPen software, the stylus also boasts features including an eraser and mouse control buttons. R2E Ultra Mobile PC also has GPS (Global Positioning System) capabilities.
It also has multimedia features for personal entertainment. Some of the features include live TV delight with external antenna and a remote controller in addition to a SunRead glare-proof panel mainly for a clear view in bright light.
Other features of the Asus R2E Ultra Mobile PC are Built-in AuthenTec fingerprint scanner with TruePrint technology, Genuine Windows Vista Premium, Integrated AuthenTec fingerprint scanner with TruePrint technology, Built-in Bluetooth 2.0 + EDR, Wireless LAN 802.11 a/b/g, CPU: Intel Stealey A110 (800MHz), WVGA (Touch Panel) (Sun Readable), VGA: Intel 945GU, Web Cam: 1.3 M Camera, Memory: 1 GB DDR II, HDD: 100G PATA and many others.
The Asus R2E notebook comes bundled with a USB keyboard, car charger, link cable and a car bag. The notebook will be available at the price of Rs 64,900.
