Samsung MAX CDMA Phone launched in India

Samsung has launched the first open market CDMA phone, the Samsung MAX in India.


















It is a slider type phone and will be available with both Reliance Mobile and Tata Indicom Subscribers. Customers will be able to choose either CDMA carrier as their wireless provider.

The handset is targeted at the Indian youth delivering special features like Indian Calendar, Panchang, Mobile Prayer, Cricket Scorer, Hinglish SMS, Mobile Tracker and SOS alert.

Initially Samsung’s MAX phone will be available to Delhi and Mumbai-based CDMA subscribers. The Samsung Max is available for Rs. 7,500.
