Cricketer Yuvraj Singh celebrated his birthday (December 12) on Wednesday night by hosting a bash at the JW Marriott hotel for his close friends and family. Deepika Padukone was the special guest of the evening.
Deepika Padukone has been linked with actor Ranbir Kapoor, Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh. Indian cricket captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni had openly expressed his admiration for Deepika but it is the vice captain who has stole her heart.
Says a source present at the party, “It was Yuvi’s birthday and he celebrated it by throwing a party at Enigma at the Marriott. Cricket buddies Zaheer Khan and Ashish Mehra represented the cricketing world, others kept away.
Deepika played the perfect host at the party. "She mingled with the guests as if she belongs to Yuvraj's family. The duo looked more than just friends if their body language was any indication," the source said. "Yuvraj cut a cake, danced to Bollywood numbers and had a blast with Deepika at his side. The vibes between them are hard to miss.”
Earlier, Deepika had a long-standing relationship with model Nihar Pandya. A close friend of Nihar said, "Deepika's relationship with Nihar is over. She has moved on. Now, Deepika and Yuvraj are a couple."
Deepika had flown to Jaipur in Gautam Singhania's private jet to witness the ODI in Jaipur and spent some time with 26-year-old Yuvraj Singh. After the match Yuvraj and Deepika took off on a long drive and wrapped up the day with a romantic dinner. It is said that the actress visited the Grand Ashok hotel in Bangalore, where the Indian cricket team stayed.
Yuvraj Singh, was in a steady relationship with Bollywood starlet Kim Sharma until May this year. The relationship is believed to have unraveled because of differences between Kim and Yuvraj's mother.
Kim Sharma was also invited but skipped the bash. When quizzed on her no-show, the actress bristles, “I didn’t remember it was Yuvraj’s birthday. If it was, I hope it was a great party. I’ve heard Deepika was part of the celebrations and if she was, good for her.”

M S Dhoni probably didn’t show up at the party, to save Deepika and Yuvraj the embarrassment of being in the same room as him. M S Dhoni had tried to get friendly with Deepika and had even invited her to the recent T20 cricket match against Australia.
