The much-awaited and much-coveted Kingfisher Swimsuit Calendar was launched over a high-profile brunch in Mumbai. Shot in Goa and Ladakh by celebrity photographer Atul Kasbekar, the calender features some of India's hottest bods in itsy-bitsy swimwear.
The event saw the city's glam set turn up in all white, as John Abraham did the honours of officially launching the calendar.

“If it is hot cars, it is pretty good, if it is motorbikes, it is even better. But if it is hot women on hot cars and bikes, it’s wow!” ad filmmaker Prahlad Kakkar said.
The Kingfisher Calendar this year was shot at the best travel destinations in India. And it was the king himself, business tycoon Vijay Mallya, who looked at every detail while choosing the models.

“I look at the physical aspects, in photographic form only, I might add,” Mallya said.
However there are only just 100 copies available.
“Vijay has signed one and given me. I usually don't put it, but I'll make it a point to put up a Kingfisher for sure,” actor John Abraham said.

As for the others, they have their pretty obvious reasons to love this calendar. With most men agreeing to the age-old fact that it’s always a “treat to see pretty women and if they are in a swimsuit it’s an added bliss.”

But the man behind the lenses however does not think the same. Photographer Atul Kasbekar, who shot the beautiful ladies said, “I don't want to see any woman in a swim suit for a whole year.”
