Pamela and her seven children live with her mother Magdalena who works as a house cleaning help. Her family already receives help from the government authorities, which donated land and built them a house when the first set of triplets was born. Pamela
s mother is now seeking more assistance from the government.
The father of Pamela's first son abandoned them, the father of the first set of triplets was forced out of the house by the family for beating her, and Pamela refuses to identify the father of the more recent triplets.
Magdalena had made a request to Argentinian authorities to have her daughter's fallopian tubes tied to avoid any further pregnancies, but this was denied because Argentine law prohibits this procedure to be performed on minors.
