Nokia recently announced the Nokia N78, whic is the replacement for the aging N73. It is an HSDPA capable 3.5G handset, with a 3.2 megapixel camera with a Carl Zeiss lens, autofocus and an LED flash, GPS and built-in WiFi, Symbian S60 operating system.
It is a dual-band HSDPA /WCDMA phone with quad-band GSM support, plus GPRS and EDGE data. WiFi connectivity is built-in too, as is stereo Bluetooth and USB 2.0. It has support for microSD memory card, currently available at up to 8 GB, to store music and media.
The N78 comes with a multimedia player capable of handing MPEG-4, MP3, WMA and AAC clips. Video capture is VGA resolution at 15 frames per second. There's also an FM radio and integrated stereo speakers. The Nokia N78 comes with a useful FM transmitter, so it is possible to connect it to a car stereo using just the radio. The Nokia N78 mobile phone is designed to take advantage of the new suite of Nokia services, including the Nokia Music Store, Nokia Maps, and Share on Ovi - a new online service that enables consumers to share their personal media.
The Nokia N78 has just over 3 hours talktime on 3G with up to 13 days standby time. The N78 features up to 24 hours of audio playback time.
