Futuristic Oryx Bike

Oryx is an innovative time trial bike with a one-sided fork and chain-stay designed by Harald Cramer. Due to its Y-frame shape, it’s comfortably shock-proof without loosing ground contact.

Each bike is custom-made which guaranties the perfect fit for every rider and simplifies manufacturing; handle bars, stem and fork are made from one piece. The ergonomically shaped seat post and saddle are integrated into the frame with a hole to cool your bum even!

The frame and handle bars are connected via a frame-pivot, guiding cables through the frame as one turns. One of the innovations on the bike is the crank which is designed like a ring and mounted in the inside of the frame by two ball bearings. The whole bike itself is made of carbon composite, which is baked into the frame during the molding process.

In time trial races, like the Contre la Montre at the Tour de France, every second counts, so Oryx possesses an identical pair of wheels which can be removed by the push of a button.

(Video) Hrithik Roshan's new Coca Cola ad campaign

Coca-Cola India has launched its new ad campaign that will feature Bollywood actor and style icon Hrithik Roshan. The campaign is based on the theme 'Jashan Mana Le' and is designed to showcase the 'magical power' of Coca-Cola.

The new commercial is set at a quaint street where a group of youngsters land up late one night to grab a bite, only to find all the shops shut. What follows is a tryst with Hrithik and a magical ride, which leaves them in awe.

Set in the context of friends enjoying their food, the cold drink brings life to the moment and transforms it into an impromptu celebration.

'It feels great to be part of the 'Jashan Mana Le' campaign. It reminds me of the time when I was in college, hanging out with friends, going out and having food together,' said Hrithik in a press statement.

'The emotions captured in the campaign of togetherness and celebrations, being energized by a bottle of Coca-Cola are very real and identifiable. I am sure all including my fans, would find this campaign extremely appealing,' he added.

Venkatesh Kini, V-P (marketing), Coca-Cola India, said: 'Having made 'thanda' and refreshment synonymous with Coca-Cola, this year we have decided to take the brand communication to the next level. Our 2008 campaign focuses on how a bottle of Coca-Cola infuses a stream of fun, enjoyment and exhilaration into every moment of life.'

'The idea of the new campaign is tell the audience how the magical power of the beverage brings celebration into the lives of its consumers. I am confident that the youth today will strongly identify with both the lingo and message of this campaign.'

The next campaign of the cold drink will feature its brand ambassador Aamir Khan.

Maran's modeling career began at the age of 12; when an agent spotted her at a local barbecue restaurant, she began modeling part time. Maran graduated from the Castilleja School in Palo Alto, then began to pursue modeling more seriously. As those in the fashion industry consider her height of 5'7" to be too short for runway modeling, Maran works mainly in editorial modeling and advertising/image modeling.

Signed at age 17 with the Elite modeling agency of Los Angeles, Maran appeared on her first cover with Glamour magazine in 1998, and she was the featured Guess? Girl in their summer 1998 and fall 1998 campaigns.

In 2001, Maran appeared in an independent film, as title character Mallory in The Mallory Effect. In 2002, Maran appeared as Susan in Swatters. In 2004, she appeared in three films - as a French model in Little Black Book, as one of Dracula's brides in Van Helsing, and briefly as a cigarette girl in The Aviator. Maran appeared in a short film "The Confession" alongside Wentworth Miller in 2005, and as Kira Hayden in The Gravedancers in 2006.

In 2005, she was recruited by EA Games to appear as a main character in the street-racing computer and video game, Need for Speed: Most Wanted, which was released on November 17, 2005. She plays the game's second lead Mia Townsend, who guides the lead character through the game.

In June 2007, Josie Maran launched her own cosmetics product line, named Josie Maran Cosmetics.
